D.C. United have announced that defender Oniel Fisher will undergo right knee surgery for a partially torn Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL), Medial Collateral Ligament (MCL), Posterior Cruciate Ligament (PCL) and Medial Meniscus. He is expected to miss the remainder of the 2018 MLS Season.
The Black-and-Red acquired Fisher from the Seattle Sounders on Feb. 7, 2018 in exchange for $50,000 in General Allocation Money (GAM). This season, Fisher has scored one goal and recorded an assist in 24 appearances (20 starts) for D.C. United.
