Montreal Impact (2018): Amarikwa was traded to the Montreal Impact on Aug. 8, 2018 in exchange for Dominic Oduro. He played in 10 games (7 starts) and scored his lone goals for the club against Philadelphia on Sep. 15, 2018 during his 71 minutes on the field.
San Jose (2015-2018): Amarikwa was traded back to San Jose in June of 2015. He scored two goals in the California Clásico against the LA Galaxy. He finished the 2017 season with 17 starts, 6 goals, and 4 assists. In 2016, Amarikwa had another impressive year playing in 23 games for the Quakes, until an injury sidelined him for the latter half of the season. He scored 3 goals and collected 3 assists for San Jose during the 2016 MLS season. Amarikwa made his return to San Jose on July 14, 2017 in a friendly match against Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt, he scored a penalty kick during his shift in a 4-1 win. He was nominated for the MLS Comeback Player of the Year Award.
Chicago Fire (2013-2015): Amarikwa was traded to Chicago in exchange for a first-round pick in the 2014 MLS Supplemental Draft. He scored his first goal for Chicago against Real Salt Lake in a 1-1 draw on May 25, 2013. He had his first two-point performance for the Fire against the Seattle Sounders on June 7, 2014, he collected two assists and played a full 90 minutes in the contest. He appeared in 60 games (36 starts) and scored 11 goals, 6 assists and played 3,583 minutes for The Windy City club.
Toronto F.C. (2012): Quincy was traded to Toronto for a conditional draft pick in on July 21, 2012. He made his MLS debut for Toronto in a 2-0 home defeat to Houston on July 28, 2012. Amarikwa scored his first goal for the club in a CONCACAF Champions League game against Santos Laguna in a 3-1 loss. He featured in 11 games (six starts) and collected one assist for the Canadian side.
Colorado Rapids (2010-2012): He was traded to Colorado Rapids in April 2010 in exchange for a second-round selection in the 2012 MLS SuperDraft. He featured in 31 games for Colorado and scored three goals for the Rapids. He was apart of the 2010 team that won the 2010 MLS Cup.
San Jose (2009-2010): Amarikwa appeared in 24 games for the Quakes during his rookie season in MLS. He scored one goal and notched two assists in 602 minutes played.
UC Davis: Appeared in 77 games and scored 31 goals in four years with UC Davis. As a senior in 2008, led the team to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the first time in school history. Finished as the conference leader in goals scored (15) and was second in points (31). Earned second-team All-America and first-team All-Far West Region accolades from the NSCAA.
