MLS Experience
2021: Nyeman, in his second season with the Black-and-Red, made 19 appearances (10 starts), recorded one assist, and logged 801 minutes. Nyeman missed the last six games of the season due to a quad injury. Because of the impact, the 18-year-old had with D.C. United, the league named Nyeman 22nd in the MLS 22 Under 22 list.
2020: After signing with D.C. United in October of 2019, the 17-year-old Homegrown midfielder played his first season with the Black-and-Red in 2020. Nyeman made his MLS debut on Aug. 30 against the Philadelphia Union. He made 11 appearances (five starts) for D.C. United.
2019: Nyeman made his debut for D.C. United’s USL Championship affiliate as a substitute during the 3-2 victory over Swope Park on June 6. Nyeman scored his first goal for Loudoun during the 3-0 victory over Louisville City on July 29. The midfielder recorded his first assist in the USL in the 4-0 victory over North Carolina FC on Sept. 1. Nyeman finished the season with a goal and an assist in 15 appearances (10 starts).
Previous Experience
Moses Nyeman rose through D.C. United’s academy and established himself as a promising mid- field prospect. Has been a member of the D.C. United academy since 2015 at the U-12 level. Nyeman made 83 appearances (70 starts) in the U.S. Soccer Develop- ment Academy (USSDA) for the academy squad and scored 10 goals. After four years in the academy sys- tem, Nyeman spent the 2019 season with D.C. United’s USL Championship affiliate Loudoun United.
As one of the academy's rising stars, the 16-year-old made his Loudoun United debut as a substitute in a 3-2 victory over the Swope Park Rangers on June 6. Nye- man scored his first goal for Loudoun United during a 3-0 victory over Louisville FC on Jul. 29. The Maryland native recorded his first assist against North Carolina FC as he helped United to a 4-0 victory on Sept. 1. Dur- ing the 2019 season, Nyeman made 15 appearances for Loudoun United recording a goal and an assist.
International Experience
Nyeman has appeared in three friendlies for the United States U-17 squad. He made his debut in a 3-3 friendly against the Netherlands U-17 squad on Nov. 14, 2018. The midfielder started the match and played 45 minutes in a central midfield role. Nyeman’s first international goal came on Nov. 17, 2019 during a friendly against the United States U-18 squad. In his next match against Turkey's U-17 team, Nyeman scored another goal for his country as they defeated their opponents 3-2.

D.C. United signed Moses Nyeman on Oct. 3, 2019, as the 13th Homegrown player in club history.
