Charlie Horton

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

2016

After being acquired in March, Horton played for the Richmond Kickers on loan.  He played in eight matches (all starts), recorded 16 saves and held a goals against average of 0.88.

2015

Horton most recently played for Leeds United F.C. of the Football League Championship (English second division). Horton was named to the USA's Olympic qualifying squad but did not see any action for Andi Herzog's side during the tournament. He started one match in the U-23s' two-game friendly series with Brazil last November, and also played in the prestigious Toulon Tournament in France last spring with United defender Jalen Robinson.
