On Tuesday, October 18 and Wednesday, October 19, D.C. United hosted two soccer clinics run by the Haitian amputee soccer team, Team Zaryen at the RFK Stadium Training Field.
The soccer clinics and friendly match against the USA was part of the "Haitian Inspiration Tour", which served as a gesture of gratitude towards the American military personnel for their post-earthquake relief assistance after the devastating 7.0 earthquake that struck Port-au-Prince, Haiti in January 2010.
Military personnel from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center were also invited by D.C. United to participate in the clinics.
