D.C. United team captain Dwayne De Rosario joins other MLS and U.S. Soccer players in "Soccer Night in Newtown" on Monday, January 7. The event includes a variety of soccer-based activities aimed at children and families such as an autograph station, photo booth, mini-games, giveaways and more.
The mission of the event is to bring smiles to the faces of Newtown children, provide a brief diversion from the awful realities facing their community, and create positive lifelong memories. De Rosario joins other players including Landon Donovan, Cobi Jones, Alexi Lalas, Eric Wynalda, Tony Meola, Mia Hamm, Kristine Lilly, and Christie Rampone.
