More Turkey! D.C. United partnered with Salvation Army to participate in Safeway's Annual Feast of sharing event at the Washington Convention Center on Wednesday, November 24.
The two-and-half hour event served a complete Thanksgiving meal to thousands of less fortunate DC residents. D.C. United staff waited tables to ensure all guests received beverages, meal service, and their choice of pie for dessert! In addition to D.C. United, local politicians and other celebrities -- including hip-hop star Wale -- were on site to wish residents a Happy Thanksgiving and share in the feast.
The Black-and-Red pick back up with the second half of the 10 Days of Giving campaign next week with a return to Bread for the City on December 1.
