D.C. United to visit Children’s National Medical Center

D.C. United players and members of the front office staff will visit Children’s National Medical Center on Wednesday, July 23, to spend time with patients and their families.

D.C. United players will be reading, playing games and partaking in other activities with patients in the hospital atrium before heading to a playroom where they will visit with children who aren’t able to leave their treatment floor. D.C. United has made it a tradition of visiting Children’s National Medical Center each season as part of its community initiatives.

Children’s National Medical Center is the only exclusive provider of pediatric care in the metropolitan Washington area and is the only freestanding children’s hospital between Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Norfolk, and Atlanta. Serving the nation’s children for more than 140 years, Children’s National is a proven leader in the development and application of innovative new treatments for childhood illness and injury.
