Washington, D.C. (October 14, 2009) - As part of D.C. United’s continued efforts to make positive contributions to the local community, players will make appearances at various events this week. John DiRaimondo, Brandon Barklage, Avery John and Greg Janicki will be supporting the United Reads initiative at Simon Elementary and Bruce-Monroe Elementary schools. Several players and head coach Tom Soehn will make appearances at the Volkswagen Junior Masters tournament, while others will help out with another installment of United’s Community Soccer Series.
