D.C. United are pleased to announce a live, mobile-friendly silent-auction platform that allows fans to place bids on team-autographed memorabilia and one-of-a-kind experiences. The platform also keeps fans up-to-date on the status of their bids.
Whether you are watching the Black-and-Red play live at RFK or in the comfort of your own home, D.C. United Auction offers a streamlined, interactive experience for fans. Through the full-service, mobile auction platform, users can place bids and receive status updates on their items via text message notifications.
D.C. United launch their first silent auction today in conjunction with Saturday’s 20th Anniversary match. The auction features historical items such as team photos from 1997 and 1999 and other memorabilia from members of the 1996 squad.
The auction is live and users can start bidding now by texting “DCUNITED” to 52182 or visiting the auction website.
Auction items will be on display for bidding in the Field Level Fan Zone in front of section 222 at RFK stadium during United's home match against New England on April 23.
All proceeds from the auction will benefit DC SCORES, a non-profit organization whose mission D.C. United shares: to improve the physical fitness and confidence of low-income children while advancing literacy, increasing school engagement and deepening their connections to their communities.
