On Tuesday evening, volunteers from D.C. United gathered at the DC Central Kitchen to help with the Kitchen's large-scale, evening meal preparation. This effort is part of our 10 Days of Giving holiday outreach program.
The staff spent three hours cutting, chopping, and peeling thousands of pounds of food which will be packaged into over 5,000 meals. The meals will be served to DC residents and visitors of the Kitchen during the coming days.
