After a dominant performance in the eMLS League Series 1 qualifiers, KingCJ0 is set to take the main stage in New York City this weekend.
D.C. United’s eMLS representative came out swinging on Tuesday, going unbeaten in 7 matches (6 wins, 1 draw) and finishing Day 1 of qualifiers atop the 26-player leaderboard. He finished the qualifying rounds with 26 points, which was enough to secure third place and a bye for Saturday’s Group Stage.
On Sunday, KingCJ0 will go head-to-head with the top 12 players in a high-intensity, single-elimination bracket to determine who will take home the title and the biggest share of the $25,000 prize pool.
