Fighting a grueling a stretch in which United played their third match in eight days against the LA Galaxy at RFK Stadium on June 3, Ben Olsen named three Homegrown Players to the starting lineup. Bill Hamid, the youngest goalkeeper in MLS history to reach 600 career regular season saves and 45 career shutouts, continued his stellar 2017 season, racking up six saves.

Ian Harkes, the most recent United academy member to sign with the first team, played 90 minutes and led the team in chances created, touches and total passes. He also completed 84.7 percent of his passes and chipped in with one tackle.
Jalen Robinson, who made his first MLS start at RFK in June of last year, started in central defense, pairing with Kofi Opare. The fourth-year defender helped keep a clean sheet for the second time in United's last three matches. Robinson played all 90 minutes and completed 81 percent of his passes.
The Black-and-Red next play Christos FC in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on June 13 at the Maryland SoccerPlex.
