Espindola signed with Real Salt Lake on Aug. 17, 2007, and spent his first six seasons with the MLS side, playing in 125 games (104 starts) and netting 35 goals while recording 17 assists. After the 2012 season, he was traded to the New York Red Bulls in exchange for allocation money along with former teammate Jamison Olave. In the 2013 season, the Argentinean striker played in 28 games (23 starts) for the Red Bulls and recorded nine goals and two assists en route to leading the team to the best record in MLS.
Attakora began his professional career in 2007 with Toronto FC where he appeared in five Reserve League games during his first season.
