Career Summary

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE 

2018 (Chicago Fire / D.C. United): Appeared in in 20 games for Chicago where he scored two goals and recorded four assists. 

2011-2017 (Sporting Kansas City): Signed as a homegrown player for Sporting KC and went on to appear in 68 league games, scoring five goals and recording five assists. He also made three career post-season appearances and scored his first playoff goal in a 2-1 win against the Los Angeles Galaxy on Oct. 29, 2015. 

COLLEGE EXPERIENCE 

Ellis attended Barton County Community College, where he led the school to back-to-back Region VI championships and NJCAA national tournament appearances in 2009 and 2010. He started at forward and transitioned to defense during his time there. His 34 goals and 80 points in the two-year career are an all-time school record.
