The Black-and-Red hosted the Union at RFK in early April and defeated Philadelphia 2-1 behind goals from José Ortiz and Luciano Acosta. The goals were Ortiz's first in Major League Soccer and Acosta's first of 2017. Nick DeLeon made his 150th career MLS appearance, all for D.C. United and Bill Hamid made seven saves.
