A thrilling MLS Playoff clash between DC United and the New England Revolution in the 2004 Eastern Conference Championship. Both sides boasted stars: United had Jaime Moreno, Freddy Adu, Ben Olsen, and Christian Gomez; New England had Taylor Twellman, Shalrie Joseph, Steve Ralston and a rookie named Clint Dempsey. After finishing 3-3 in regulation, the match went to penalties. Only one team could advance to the MLS Cup final.
