United defenders Steven Birnbaum and Chris Odoi-Atsem, and midfielder Chris Durkin, visited with poet-athletes at Truesdell Education Campus in Northwest D.C. on Thursday, March 22, to help kick off the first game day of the DC SCORES spring season. Even though snow prevented the team from playing outdoors, the youth players took part in an indoor training session led by Black-and-Red players.
