D.C. United have been named a finalist for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation's 2016 Corporate Citizenship Awards in the category of Best Community Improvement.
In coordination with the club's official charitable partner DC SCORES, United have reached and increased the fitness levels of more than 2,000 at-risk youth throughout the Washington, D.C., metro area.
The Citizens Awards honor excellence in corporate citizenship. Over the past 17 years, some of the most accomplished social and community initiatives within the business sector have been recognized through the Citizens Awards.​
