The Black-and-Red fell to their I-95 neighbors the Philadelphia Union 4-0 on Saturday night in Philadelphia's final match at RFK Stadium. United, looking to rebound from a 1-0 loss to Montreal a week ago, had an even share of possession on the night but couldn't find any offensive potency.

The Union opened the scoring in the 39th minute when Haris Medunjanin struck from distance, beating Bill Hamid on the night when he became the fourth-youngest player in Major League Soccer history to reach 15,000 minutes played. Hamid finished the match with five saves.
After Luciano Acosta was sent off in the second half, United played the remaining 35 minutes down to ten men and were not able to stifle the Philadelphia offense, even though Hamid continued to make big saves.
United defender Chris Korb, who the Black-and-Red first acquired in the 2011 MLS SuperDraft, made his return to the field after overcoming a torn ACL in 2015. D.C. signed the Ohio native on May 4, 2017, after a successful trial this spring. Captain Steve Birnbaum made his first appearance since suffering a concussion against the New York Red Bulls on April 15 and Hamid made his return to the field after missing the last game as a last-minute scratch.
United will look to end the homestand on a high note against Bastian Schweinsteiger and the Chicago Fire May 20 at 4 PM before going on the road for two matches in quick succession.
