The United academy have announced a partnership with digital communications platform DRIVN, an all-in-one mobile coaching platform that centralizes communication between athletes and coaches to improve performance, streamline communications and track measurements.
"The D.C. United Academy is very excited about the addition of the DRIVN platform. Jeffrey Hajek (our youth development coordinator) did an incredible job configuring the app to meet the needs of the players, staff and parents," Ryan Martin, United academy director, said. "After using the app during the U-17 Generation adidas Cup we know that it will be a great tool of communication for parents, players, and coaches moving forward. It will also give coaches the ability to track important performance measurements to improve player development through nutrition trackers, performance evaluations and individual player development goals, as well as the ability to share video, coaching points and offseason training plans to the players, which will bring our academy to a new level.”
"We are very excited to have the DC United Academy join our growing family of users," DRIVN CEO Chris Heidelberger said. "The staff quickly identified the value in what DRIVN can provide to their young players and the role it can play in enhancing player performance."
