Program Description: D.C. United’s U23 NPSL team will feature top collegiate, international and domestic players. Led by D.C United legend Jaime Moreno, the team will work and learn from one of the most accomplished players in MLS history. Moreno will be assisted by D.C. United’s U18 Academy Head Coach, Nolan Sheldon and U16 Academy Head Coach, Tom Torres.
Try-out dates:
- April 19 - 3:00pm-4:30pm at RFK auxiliary turf field - Full
- April 26 - 3:00pm-4:30pm at RFK auxiliary turf field - Full
- May 3 - 3:00pm-4:30pm at RFK auxiliary turf field - Full
- May 10 - 3:00-4:30 at RFK auxiliary turf field - Register
- Only sixty players will compete per try-out date.
- To secure your spot, complete the registration form, waiver and $45 fee (no exceptions).
Advantages:
- Players will be scouted by U23 Head Coach, Jaime Moreno, Assistant coaches, Nolan Sheldon and Tom Torres, as well as Director of Youth Development, Sonny Silooy.
- If selected, you will be invited to join the 2012 U23 team for the 2013 NPSL season.
What to bring:
- Please wear a white t-shirt, with black shorts and socks.
- Bring your ID for check in.
- Check-in will begin 30 minutes prior to the session, so please arrive on time.
- Players that arrive late will not participate in the try-out and will not be issued a refund on the try-out fee.
International players:
- D.C. United cannot assist in securing a visa in order to participate on this team.
- D.C. United does not provide accommodations for this try-out.
