D.C. United today announced that registration for the Academy’s annual Spring Break Camps are now open. The camp schedule comprises back-to-back camps at the D.C. United Training Complex at RFK, including the popular Striker/Goalkeeper camp, as well as the annual Spring Break camp in Fairfax, Va., in partnership with Burke Athletic Club.
The Spring Break camps, set for March 25-29 and April 1-5, are open to ages 7-17 (co-ed) and run from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. daily. The Black-and-Red’s Academy coaches designed the five-day program, which is focused on developing the technical ability and tactical understanding of each player in a fun and exciting environment. Participants will enjoy a D.C. United First Team player appearance, autographs, group and individual pictures, as well as a Q&A session. Each camper will also receive a D.C. United match ticket, ball, t-shirt and the opportunity to take part in one of the “Field Level Activities” at the D.C. United Camp Graduation Night prior to a 2013 home match. D.C. United merchandise will also be available for purchase on-site.
