  • United midfielder Paul Arriola scored his fifth goal of the season in the 25th minute. The goal was Arriola's first since he recorded a brace in United's 3-1 win over the Vancouver Whitecaps in the Audi Field opener on July 14. 
  • Luciano Acosta recorded his 13th assist of 2018 when he assisted Arriola's goal. With his assist, Acosta becomes the first United player to reach 13 assists in a season since Jaime Moreno recorded 14 in 2004.
  • Acosta also recorded his eighth goal of the season when he scored in the 87th minute. Acosta has seven goals and five assists in his last 10 games.
