Columbus, Ohio (Oct. 25, 2015) – D.C. United (15-13-6, 51 points) will host its first-ever Knockout Round match in the Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs following a 5-0 defeat at Columbus Crew SC (15-11-8, 53 points) in the team’s final regular season match of 2015. Finishing the regular season in fourth place in the Eastern Conference, D.C. United has reached the playoffs in consecutive seasons, for the third time in four years and for the 12th time in the team’s 20 seasons.

The Black-and-Red will be the Eastern Conference No. 4 seed in the playoffs and host No. 5 New England (14-12-8, 50 points) at RFK Stadium on Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 7:30 p.m. ET. The match will be televised nationally by UniMás. Should D.C. United defeat the Revolution, they will advance to the Eastern Conference Semifinals, which will begin on Nov. 1 at RFK Stadium.

Tickets for the Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs are now on sale. Previously tickets issued which read “Home Playoff Match #1” are valid for admission to the Knockout Round match on Oct. 28. Should D.C. United advance to the Eastern Conference Semifinals, any tickets issued which read “Home Playoff Match #2” will be valid for admission to the first leg on Nov. 1 at RFK Stadium.
