United forward Patrick Mullins has undergone successful meniscectomy surgery to his left knee and is scheduled to return to play in approximately six weeks. The 25-year-old suffered a knee injury in Vancouver.
Mullins scored eight goals for the Black-and-Red after his acquisition from New York City FC in July of last year. In 44 career starts, he has scored 18 goals and added eight assists.
Other forwards on United's roster include Lamar Neagle, who led the team in scoring last season, Sébastien Le Toux, the only active player with at least 55 goals and assists, and Costa Rican national team member José Ortiz.
