Partner Update: Inter Milan reclaim top spot of Serie A

Following the thirteenth league match of the season, Internazionale Milano (9-1-3) are back on top of the Serie A standings.  The Nerazzurri defeated Serie A newcomers Frosinone 4-0 at the San Siro on Sunday, Nov. 22 to reclaim the top spot in Italy.

Roberto Mancini's men have now won four games in a row and knocked Napoli, who had climbed to the number one spot in the league just hours before by beating Hellas Verona, down to third.

Jonathan Biabiany, in his third spell with Inter Milan, put the hosts ahead by volleying home a rebound in the 38th minute.  Up until that point, the underdogs from Frosinone had held their own, managing several shots and even forcing a good save from Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanović.  Inter would not relinquish the lead, however, and in the second half the goals poured in, first from last year's top scorer Mauro Icardi, then Colombian defender Jeison Murillo and finally Croat Marcelo Brozović.

The completion of Inter's ascent back to the top of the table was emphatic; it was the first time the Milanese team had scored more than one goal since late August.  Inter now travel to Naples on Nov. 30, where they will face the team they recently kicked out of the top spot.
