United’s opening three games of the season. Midfielder Hosei Kijima also made an impact, scoring his first goal, a game-winner, for the club with a header assisted by João Peglow in the 68th minute. The team’s defensive structure, anchored by goalkeeper Kim Joon Hong and defenders Kye Rowles and Lucas Bartlett, helped secure the win as Sporting Kansas City piled on the pressure late in the game.
