United attacker Luciano Acosta has been nominated for AT&T Goal of the Week for his goal in the Black-and-Red's victory over the Portland Timbers on Saturday, August 13. The Argentine midfielder brought down a chipped through ball from Patrick Mullins inside the box and coolly slotted home past Portland goalkeeper Jake Gleeson. Acosta's goal, his second of the year, sealed the win for United and kept the Timbers winless away from home this season.
