United midfielder Lloyd Sam has been nominated for AT&T MLS Goal of the Week for his goal against Columbus Crew SC on Wednesday, Sept. 28.
The Ghanaian received a chipped pass from Luciano Acosta in the penalty area with his back to goal and faked to his left before turning and firing with his left foot past Crew SC goalkeeper Steve Clark.
