In the latest "Stock Up, Stock Down" series on MLSsoccer.com, two United players have been noticed for their impressive performances of late. Goalkeeper Bill Hamid, who has three straight clean sheets and has risen back to assume leadership of the most saves in MLS, is one player that Arena will keep an eye on for the next round of international matches in October.
Defender Kofi Opare is another player featured for his strong showing of late for the Black-and-Red. The Ghanaian-born Canadian center back continues to dominate in the air (he's second in the league for headed shots) and recently notched his first career assist, winning a header from a Lloyd Sam cross right into the path of Luciano Acosta for the game winner against the New England Revolution on Aug. 26.
