Freestate Soccer Alliance's U-14, U-15 and U-18 teams all posted wins against Richmond Strikers this weekend in Elite Clubs National League play.
Freestate's U-14s won 6-2, while its U-15s and U-18s each won 4-0 over the Strikers.
The Strikers' U-14 team rallied Sunday for a 2-0 win over Bethesda SC. That was Bethesda SC's only loss on the weekend, as its U-15s defeated the Strikers 3-0, the U-16s tied the Strikers 1-1 and the U-18s defeated the Strikers, 2-0.
The U-16 Strikers also had an unbeaten weekend, beating Freestate 3-2 Saturday and tying Bethesda SC Sunday.
In Texas Conference U-14 action, Solar-Chelsea Soccer Club and TSC Hurricane played to a scoreless draw, while Sunday, FC Dallas beat TSC Hurricane 2-0.
In the Midwest Conference, Minnesota Thunder Academy U-15 through U-18 teams went 4-1-3 this weekend against St. Louis Scott Gallagher, with its only loss a 2-0 decision Saturday in a U-17 match. The U-15 Minnesota Thunder Academy team picked up two wins over the weekend, including a 4-0 shutout Saturday. In the U-16 matchup, Minnesota Thunder Academy defeated St. Louis Scott Gallagher 3-1 Saturday, with those same two teams playing to a scoreless draw Sunday.
