Registration for D.C. United Summer Camps is now open! United will be holding eight camps at RFK Stadium and eleven camps at satellite locations across Maryland and Virginia this summer. D.C. United first team players will make special appearances at camps being held at RFK Stadium.
D.C. United Summer Camp at RFK Stadium is one of the most unique and fun experiences a player can have in the region. Players that register for the RFK Soccer Camps in Washington, D.C. will take a tour of the stadium, which includes the First Team locker room, trophy collection and view a live First Team training session! RFK summer campers will have the opportunity to eat lunch, talk soccer with and ask questions of one of our First Team players. D.C. United players participating in this year’s camps include: Davy Arnaud, Bobby Boswell, Nick DeLeon, Bill Hamid, Perry Kitchen, Eddie Johnson, Chris Pontius and Chris Rolfe. D.C. United Camps are led by D.C. United Academy and Pre-Academy coaches and are designed to maximize each individual athlete’s technical proficiency and tactical understanding of the game while emphasizing a fun and competitive environment. Campers learn and practice a different soccer topic each day and build off of them throughout the week. Daily camp sessions begin in the morning with individual skill development, small-sided games and finally free play, which allows campers to be creative and practice aspects of the daily topic. All campers are provided a free voucher for a specific D.C. United home match, and receive a DCU branded camp t-shirt and soccer ball.
D.C. United also holds summer camps at satellite locations across Maryland and Virginia. Satellite Camps include player appearances, but they are not guaranteed due to the First Team training schedule. The list of locations and dates can be found below.
