D.C. United Academy Announces Tryout Dates

WASHINGTON-– D.C. United has announced tryouts for D.C. United Academy teams at the Under-14, Under-16 and Under-18 age levels on June 29 and June 30 at the RFK Stadium auxiliary field.
The D.C. United Academy offers an unmatched opportunity for aspiring and top-level youth soccer players in the D.C., Maryland and Virginia region – the chance for professional development and a path to potentially become a member of the D.C. United first team. In the academy setting, players train with and play against the best talent in the country while being coached by some of the leading soccer coaches in the area. D.C. United’s professional staff provides players with the highest level of soccer education through a dynamic training methodology in an environment that enhances character development both on and off the field. 
D.C. United Academy players receive unprecedented exposure at home in the U.S. and around the world. They are involved in youth national teams, international training opportunities and training sessions with the first team. Several players have gone on to sign professional contracts with D.C. United. Each year, a number of graduating academy players move on to play in top colleges across the country. 
D.C. United competes in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy, the league at the forefront of player development which contains the most elite players and teams in the country. The U-14, U-16 and U-18 teams are all part of the Atlantic Division that play against academies along the East Coast. 
Click on links below to register for ONE of the available dates. Tryout spots will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. There are 50 available spots per try out for the U-14 team, while there are 35 available spots for each session at the U-16 and U-18 tryouts – Once capacity is reached, registration will be closed. Check-in is 30 minutes prior to each session; please arrive early. Players who arrive late will not be permitted to participate or receive a refund.
