WASHINGTON, D.C. (March 24, 2023) - D.C. United midfielder Pedro Santos underwent arthroscopic surgery to remove an osteochondral fragment in his left knee that he sustained during the match against New York City FC on March 18.
Team Orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Jeffrey Giuliani, of Inova Sports Medicine, performed the surgery. Santos is expected to be sidelined for 2-3 weeks as he rehabilitates from the injury.
