WASHINGTON, DC (August 16, 2022) – D.C. United and Ecuadorian forward Michael Estrada have agreed to mutually part ways, ending his loan effective immediately. Estrada will return to Deportivo Toluca FC in Liga MX (Mexico).
Estrada signed with the Black-and-Red on a season-long loan from Deportivo Toluca FC on Feb. 8, 2022. The 26-year-old scored four goals and recorded four assists in 16 appearances (11 starts) this season.
