Paul Arriola has won his second MLS Goal of the Week with the Black-and-Red following his stunning header against Toronto FC last Wednesday night at BMO Field.
In the 17th minute, Arriola made a run toward the top of the box, splitting two Toronto defenders to allow himself enough space to get on the end of a ball sent in from Zoltán Stieber. Stieber used his sharp left foot to pick out Arriola, and the 23-year-old used his momentum to soar forward and head the ball past Alex Bono, scoring one of United's best goals of the year.
This is Arriola's second MLS Goal of the Week award. The midfielder also won Goal of the Week following Last Call at RFK, when he scored his first career MLS goal, and the Black-and-Red's last-ever goal at historic RFK Stadium, with a cool volley against the New York Red Bulls.
Arriola now has two goals and five assists in 2018.
