The D.C. United Youth Academy resumed U.S. Soccer Development Academy (USSDA) play this past weekend against Richmond United. The Under-13, Under-14, Under-16 and Under-18 academy teams won all four respective fixtures, scoring 14 goals and only conceding three.
The highlight of the weekend came when D.C. United’s U-14 team beat Richmond United 5-0 at the RFK Turf Field on Saturday, September 18. Black-and-Red midfielder Nick Andersen was the man of the match, scoring a hat trick to help lead the team to their third win of the year.
D.C. United’s U-12, U-13 and U-14 academies play this upcoming weekend (September 24-25), while the U-16 and U-18 teams have the weekend off and resume play on October 1. Fans are encouraged to attend.
