The D.C. United U-23, U-18, U-16 and U-14s were all in action this past weekend at several different venues. The U-18, U-16 and U-14s finished up the regular season, while the U-23s continue its summer season.

“It was a good, hard, solid weekend for our group,” said D.C. United U-23 Head Coach Amos Magee. “We played two good opponents, and while we didn’t always play our best soccer, we were resilient and found ways to get two results.”
U-18s vs. NJSA: 2-0 win

Man of the Match: Samuel “Sammy” Kahsai
Sammy was outstanding throughout the entire match - it was, without question, his strongest game of the year. He and Patrick Jean-Gilles were very active on the ball, and both of them did an excellent job closing down in midfield and dictating play throughout the match. They had a great partnership and were the driving force behind the team's success.

Antonio was asked to perform several different midfield roles, and in each, he was consistent in his defensive presence, creative in attack, and he helped the group keep quality possession. He was a valuable player, and deserves a lot of credit for his work.

The D.C. United U-14s will be traveling to Westfield, Ind., for the U.S. Soccer Development Academy Showcase event from June 12-16. The U-14s will play three games against other academy teams. Dates, times and opponents are listed below. The U-18s and U-16s do not play again until the USSDA playoffs June 22-27. Groups and opponents will be announced later this week.
