AA Girl’s Regional and State Coverage

The Region II playoffs have kept these girls very busy with back-to-back matches this week. The Dulles District teams are dominating this region.


Dulles District team, Briar Woods, who had been the only team to win a regular season match against Broad Run in over three years, fell to Dulles District No. 1 Broad Run, 1-3. Dulles District, Freedom beat Jefferson District No. 1 Charlottesville, 3-1. Dulles District Woodgrove beat Evergreen District No. 1 Brentsville, 4-1. Woodgrove will face Freedom in the semi-finals, defending their field at 7:00pm Wednesday.
