We welcome the Black-and-Red faithful to Audi Field for the 2024 Major League Soccer Season! There are a few major updates to our Matchday A-to-Z Guide.

ACCESSIBLE SEATING

Audi Field has accessible seating throughout the stadium. For accessible seating accommodations, please email ticketing@dcunited.com, visit ticketmaster.com, or stop by the Audi Field Box Office on matchday*.

*On matchdays, the Box Office will open four (4) hours prior to the listed match time, until halftime of the match. The Box Office is not open on non-matchdays.

If additional assistance is needed upon arrival at the stadium, guests may contact a Guest Experience Supervisor, or stop by the Guest Services Booth located inside Gate A. When available, we will try to accommodate for one (1) companion ticket into a designated accessible seating area along with the guest.

Additionally, D.C. United provides a wheelchair escort service by our Guest Experience team. Guests should see a D.C. United Guest Experience representative upon entering the stadium at the Guest Services Booth by Gate A. Transportation is provided from the gate to your seat. Transportation back to the gate entrance after the event is available upon request.

ADA SHUTTLE INFORMATION

If you are a fan who needs accessibility assistance, Audi Field provides a free courtesy shuttle that begins two hours prior to the start of the event and will run one hour after the event has ended. Initial pick-up location is on the south side of 55 M Street SE, near Navy Yard metro station, and drops off at Potomac and R St.

This shuttle is designated for fans with ADA needs. Guests with ADA needs can have one additional person to accompany them on the shuttle. If there is additional room, more group members may use the shuttle.

After the event, pick up will be at Potomac and R St., just outside the Club Shop. The drop-off will be on the south side of 55 M Street SE, near the Navy Yard metro station.

The shuttle will operate for all D.C. United matches at Audi Field. For other events, please email guestexperience@dcunited.com.

ALCOHOL POLICY

D.C. United, Audi Field, and Levy Restaurants promote the responsible sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages. Guests should be prepared to show proper identification and proof of age when purchasing alcohol at Audi Field. There is a limit of two drinks per person, per transaction. Acceptable forms of identification are: driver’s license, passport, state issued I.D. card with photo, and military I.D. with photo. All guests are expected and encouraged to drink responsibly.

For D.C. United matches, all alcohol sales will stop in the 75th minute of the match, or at the discretion of D.C. United and Audi Field management. Intoxicated guests may be denied entry to the stadium or denied service.

Guests may not leave the venue with alcohol. Alcoholic beverages must be consumed or thrown
out before exiting the venue. Guests that fail to comply can result in additional disciplinary actions.

Audi Drive Area: Guests who purchase alcohol on Audi Drive at pre-event activities must stay within the designated perimeter. They will not be allowed to go past the fencing with alcohol in hand. All food and beverages purchased on Audi Drive will not be permitted into Audi Field. Failure to comply with these regulations can result in being denied entry.

ANIMALS

D.C. United welcomes guests who need a dog as a service animal. The service animal must be trained or is in training to perform tasks for the guest. Comfort/ Emotional Support animals are not allowed in Audi Field. All other animals are prohibited. Please contact guestexperience@dcunited.com when attending an event with your service animal to ensure we can provide appropriate accommodation.

AUTOGRAPHS

Autographs are not guaranteed. All fans must comply with instructions from stadium personnel and be respectful of both the players and the other patrons at all times.

AUTOMATED TELLER MACHINES (ATM)

Audi Field is a cashless venue. The Automated Teller Machine is located on the main concourse by premium entry. There is a reverse ATM located on the concourse next to the Premium entry if you need to convert your cash into a pre-paid card.

BABY CHANGING STATIONS

Baby changing stations are located inside all Audi Field’s women's and men's restrooms. Family restrooms are by sections 103, 114, 123, and 131.

BAG POLICY

To expedite entry into Audi Field, we strongly encourage fans not to bring bags to the stadium. Designated lanes will be set up for fans with bags and fans without bags. If you must bring a bag to the stadium, please see the important information below.

  • No bags larger than 14” by 14” by 6” will be allowed into Audi Field.
  • No backpacks will be allowed.
  • Other bag types that will NOT be allowed at Audi Field include: coolers, luggage, or other similar bags that exceed the size restriction.
  • Drawstring Bags and clear bags that fit the size restriction will be allowed.
  • Guests can email guestexperience@dcunited.com with any bag and backpack questions.

BANNERS AND FLAGS

Banners, flags and signs are welcomed within Audi Field. Larger versions may be denied entry. All items entering Audi Field are subject to inspection prior to entry. All banners, flags and signs must adhere to the fan code of conduct and follow these guidelines:

  • Must be related to the event.
  • May not be attached to a stick/pole.
  • May not be hung, attached, or displayed on any part of the building using any item that cannot be completely removed without damaging stadium property.
  • Item may not contain or display obscene/offensive language and/or pictures, as determined by Audi Field management.
  • Item may not obstruct the view of other guests or any stadium advertising signage, or be affixed to the stadium in any manner.

BICYCLES/BIKE VALET

Bicycles are not permitted within Audi Field. However, D.C. United offers a complimentary bike valet service located at the corner of T Street and 2nd Street SW that will open 30 minutes prior to gates. The Bike Valet will close 45 minutes after the game ends. There are also bike racks around the stadium for fans bicycling to the game, and a Capital Bikeshare station outside of the stadium at the corner of Potomac Ave SW & Half Street SW. While you are not permitted to bring bicycle helmets into Audi Field, per our Bag Policy, you may store them safely with your bike at the complimentary bike valet.

BOX OFFICE

On matchdays, the Box Office will open four (4) hours prior to the listed match time, until halftime of the match. The D.C. United Box Office does accept cash payment, though credit card is preferred.

CAMERAS AND VIDEO DEVICES

Guests are permitted to bring cameras and video devices into Audi Field, provided they are intended for personal use only. Professional and commercial grade cameras are not allowed in the stadium. Only credentialed media members are permitted to bring cameras with a lens longer than eight (8) inches, monopods, or tripods inside the stadium. Guests are not permitted to obstruct others from viewing the game while taking photographs. Camera bags are not permitted inside Audi Field unless they are compliant with the bag policy.

MOBILE CHARGING STATIONS

There are mobile charging stations available to rent for a fee through the Fuze kiosks located in the following locations: Premium Lobby, Premium Club, and Sideline Suites.

CHILDREN

Children ages two (2) and under are not required to have a ticket to enter D.C. United games. If attending without a ticket, they must sit on the lap of an accompanying adult. All children aged three (3) years or older must have a ticket.

CLUBS AND SUITES

D.C. United and Audi Field offer several hospitality areas for the enjoyment of our fans. If you are interested in purchasing tickets for one of our clubs or a suite, please email ticketing@dcunited.com.

  • Events DC Club - The Events DC Club is an all-inclusive area located on the club level of the east side of Audi Field, behind sections C1-C9. It is most easily accessible from Gate A or the premium entrance. Once inside the main gate at Audi Field, guests should utilize the circulation tower stairs and proceed to the 2nd level to reach the club. Access to this area is for club level ticket holders only.
  • Sideline Suites
  • FanDuel Sportsbook – The FanDuel Sportsbook operates as an all-inclusive area on mathchday, located just inside the main gate of Audi Field on the field level. The FanDuel Sportsbook is located on the north side of the stadium closest to Gate A near the club shop. Access to this area is for field level ticket holders only (Sections F1-F12 and LB1-LB4).

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

Mask Policy: The Audi Field mask policy continues to be aligned with the guidelines per the Mayor’s Office. Per the latest Health Guidelines issued by the Mayor’s Office as of March 1, 2022, masks are no longer required to be worn while indoors at entertainment venues, this includes Audi Field. We encourage those who feel more comfortable wearing a mask to continue to do so.

FANDUEL SPORTSBOOK

FanDuel Sportsbook at Audi Field offers a variety of sports betting options with 3 betting windows and 18+ self-service kiosks. Guests can also find a place to watch the game of their choice with one of 48+ television screens.

Hours of Operation:

  • Monday -Sunday : 10 AM - Midnight (dependent on event schedule)

How to Access:

  • Via Gate A; all guests are subject to search and screening and must present a valid ID to verify they are 21 or over. While events are in effect, you must have a ticket for that specific event to enter the venue and access the sportsbook. Dependent on the event, you may need a specific ticket to access the sports book.

Prohibited Items:

  • All Audi Field rules and regulations apply to the FanDuel Sportsbook.

Event Protocol:

  • D.C. United and Washington Spirit Matches: The hospitality area operates as an all-inclusive food and drink space for all ages. All sports wagering must take place through a FanDuel Associate in the northwest corner of the Sportsbook and all kiosks will not be operational. Guests must present a valid ID to verify they are 21 or over to place a bet. All wagers are cash only.
  • UFL: FanDuel Sportsbook will operate as normal for all guests attending the UFL game only. Guests must present a valid ID to verify they are 21 or over to place a bet.
  • All other events: FanDuel Sportsbook operates as normal for all guests unless otherwise specified.

FAN EXPERIENCE PROGRAMS

D.C. United offers a variety of Fan Experience Programs that are available for purchase each D.C. United home game as follows:

1. Player Escorts - Two (2) youth sports teams are needed each game to ‘escort’ D.C. United and the visiting team on to the field. Each child will be matched with a member of the starting 11 to walk on to the field for the national anthem. Each child will also receive a D.C. United replica kit as part of the package to wear on the field. Player escorts must be ages 6-14.

2. Flag Carriers - Several youth teams and groups of children are able to present the American flag on the field during the pre-game ceremonies. These groups will also have the chance to watch the teams warm up from field level. Ages 10-16 years old.

3. Ball Kids - D.C. United requires a minimum of 12 ball kids to help constantly keep a ball on the playing field for the teams during the game. MLS rules require participants to be at least 14 years old. Ball kids are provided with a t-shirt and a meal.

FIELD TRESPASSING

Anyone caught trespassing or trying to enter the field of play will be subject to ejection and/or arrest.

FIRST AID

Audi Field has two first aid locations in the stadium:

  • Inside of the stadium next to Premium Entrance
  • Upper concourse behind section 102

There are EMTs in the stadium that are ready to respond to emergencies. If you, or someone you know, are experiencing a medical emergency, please notify our Guest Experience staff for assistance immediately or Text "Assist" to 202-600-2022 to report issues or concerns during an event to request stadium staff assistance.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE

Outside food and beverage is prohibited at Audi Field. Certain medical exceptions as well as exceptions for children and infants will be made on a case-by-case basis with prior approval from Audi Field Management. Souvenir cups are not allowed for re-entry into the stadium.

GATE LOCATIONS

Audi Field has several gate locations that may be used for entry and exit. Fans may enter via any gate to access Audi Field. There are no ticket restrictions at any of our gates, unless otherwise specified via email.

  • Gate A - Located on the Northeast corner of the stadium at the corner of Potomac Avenue and First Street SW
  • Gate B - Located on the East side of the stadium at S Street SW.
  • Gate C - Located on the Northwest corner of the stadium located at the corner of R Street and Second Street SW.
  • Premium Entrance - Located on the Eastside of the stadium between R Street and S Street SW.

Gates open 90 minutes prior to kickoff for all D.C. United home matches unless otherwise announced by D.C. United.

The Guest Services Booth is next to Gate A inside the stadium. The booth opens when gates open to the public and closes 60 minutes following the end of the match.

HEAT ADVISORY

When in a Heat Advisory, we will allow one (1) sealed bottle of water per person, up to 20 oz. Water fountains are available throughout the stadium for fans to refill their bottles.

*Heat Advisories will be communicated through the Club's social media channels, in coordination with the Mayor's Office, typically the day of the event.

HOUSEKEEPING AND WASTE MANAGEMENT

Star Services, LLC manages all janitorial services at Audi Field. They ensure that Audi Field is maintained clean for all guests utilizing the facility. To report a spill or other janitorial problems, please see the nearest Guest Experience staff member or text "Assist" to 202-600-2022 to report issues or concerns during an event to request stadium staff assistance.

INJURY DISCLAIMER

All ticket holders will assume all risk for injury incidental to the game of soccer or other related activities. These activities can occur before, during and after the actual game. You can view our ticket policy HERE.

LOST AND FOUND

D.C. United guests who need to claim or report lost items during a game should visit the Guest Services Booth located just inside Gate A upon entry. Lost items will be kept for at least 30 days. After 30 days, items will be donated, or properly disposed of if containing sensitive information. Guests may contact lost and found at guestexperience@dcunited.com to inquire about and/or retrieve lost items. Lost and found is open Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 AM - 5 PM.

LOST CHILDREN AND GUESTS

Lost children and guests should be taken to Guest Services booth located by Gate A. D.C. United offers child wristband services, which includes the option for children to always have their seating location and emergency contact information with them. MASCOT

The beloved mascot of D.C. United is Talon, the fearsome, yet lovable eagle. Talon roams the field and stands throughout the game, rallying the crowd for D.C. United.

MERCHANDISE AND APPAREL

Fans can purchase D.C. United related material at the official Audi Field Club Shop, or at one of the kiosks locations throughout Audi Field.

  • The Audi Field Club Shop is located on the concourse near Gate A. A smaller, secondary location is located at section 119.
  • Kiosks are located on the concourse behind F7 and in the Events DC Club.
  • On matchdays, the Audi Field Club Shop operating hours begin when gates open. The shop closes 30 minutes after the conclusion of the match.
  • On non-matchdays, Audi Field Club Shop hours are 12PM – 5PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays; 12PM – 7PM on Fridays; Closed on Sundays and Mondays.

NURSING MOTHERS

A mother has the right to breast feed her child in any public or private location. Guests who need to nurse can use the Mamava Nursing Pod located just inside Gate A near Stroller Check-in. To access the pod, download the Mamava App on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store then search by location to unlock the pod. If you need assistance accessing the pod, please go to the guest services booth at Gate A. Additionally, Family restrooms are located in sections 103, 114, 123, and 131.

POLICE AND SECURITY

For the safety of all D.C. United guests, police and security are stationed throughout Audi Field’s seating bowl, concourse, and field level areas. Guests are urged to notify security personnel in the event of any emergency.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

For the safety and security of our guests, the following items are not permitted into the facility:

  • Bicycle helmets (Can be dropped of at our free Bike Valet Service, located on 2nd street)

  • Projectiles
  • Metal, plastic, glass, or aluminum containers of an kind
  • Hard-sided coolers or containers of any size
  • No bags larger than 14" by 14" by 6" will be allowed into Audi Field
  • No backpacks or luggage allowed ("drawstring bags" that fit the size restriction will be allowed)
  • Large purses, or other similar bags, that exceed the size restriction will not be allowed
  • Poles of any kind (metal, plastic, or wooden)

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

  • By Metro - Audi Field is located near the Navy Yard metro station and is accessible on the Green line. The closest transfer point is L’Enfant Plaza. Hours of operation, fares, and delay information can be found at their website, wmata.com.
  • By Bus - Audi Field is accessible by the 74 and P6 Metrobus lines. For more information, visit wmata.com.
  • By Bicycle - There is a complimentary bicycle valet located at the corner of 2nd Street SW and T Street. We also offer multiple bike racks around Audi Field. There is also a Capital Bike Share station at the corner of First Street and K Street SE.

RAIN POLICY

Matches are played rain or shine. The match may be delayed in the event of lightning or other dangerous weather. Guests will be notified in the event of a disruption delay in stadium and via social media. Please note that umbrellas are not allowed into Audi Field.

RE-ENTRY POLICY

Guests may not exit and re-enter the stadium at any time.

RESALE OF TICKETS/SCALPING

Resale of tickets is strictly prohibited by D.C. United and District of Columbia law. Anyone in violation is subject to arrest and prosecution by the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department.

RESTROOMS

Restrooms are available throughout all levels of Audi Field. All restrooms at Audi Field are accessible to persons with disabilities. All restrooms can accommodate accessibility needs. Family restrooms are on the main concourse in sections 114, 123, and 131, and on the upper concourse in section 103.

SECURITY

For the safety and security of all guests, we ask everyone to adhere to the following policies:

  • All persons entering the stadium are searched for prohibited items. This includes a thorough inspection of all jackets, coats, packages, bags, any other containers brought to any of the stadium entry gates.
  • Guests may not exit and re-enter the stadium.
  • Guests should be prepared to show their ticket each time that they enter their assigned seating section.
  • Guests should sit only in their assigned seat. Offenders will be escorted from the stadium.
  • Smoking is prohibited in all areas of Audi Field.
  • Outside food and beverage is prohibited.

SECURITY SCREENING

For the safety of all fans entering Audi Field, guests must pass through a form of metal detection to enter the stadium. Guests who are unable to walk through a metal detector will have the option of being checked with a handheld metal detector or additional screening/pat down. Guests with bags will have their bags searched, provided they adhere to the bag policy. Guests declining to be searched will be denied access to the stadium.

Prior to walking through the metal detectors all fans should place cell phones and key rings into the bowls provided or place them into their own bag which will still be subject to search.

Fans are not required to remove:

  • Coats and Jackets
  • Shoes
  • Watches
  • Rings
  • Belts
  • Wallets

Audi Field has 4 (four) main entrances for D.C. United events:

  • Gate A- located on the Northeast corner of the stadium
  • Gate B - located on the East side of the stadium
  • Gate C – located on the Northwest corner of the stadium
  • Premium Entry – located on the East side of the stadium

SEATING POLICY

D.C. United is committed to providing a high-quality fan experience for all fans. Guests should sit only in their assigned seat. Offenders will be escorted from the stadium. D.C. United staff will check all tickets to ensure each fan is seated in the proper location.

SENSORY ROOM (KULTURECITY)

D.C. United has partnered with KultureCity to improve our ability to assist and accommodate guests with sensory needs by supplying our Team Members with continuous training. Sensory bags, weighted lap pads and more can be found at the Guest Services Booth by Gate A. The dedicated Sensory Room is located on the rooftop of Heineken Tower near Gate A. Prior to attending an event, guests can download the free KultureCity App on the Apple Store or Google Play Store and can view what sensory features are available and where to access them.

SMOKING POLICY

Audi Field is a smoke-free stadium. Smoking is prohibited in every area of Audi Field, including surrounding sidewalks and plaza spaces. This includes e-cigarettes and vape devices of any kind.

STROLLERS

Strollers are permitted in all concourse areas of Audi Field. Strollers unable to fold up and fit underneath a seat must be checked in at the Stroller Check-in by Gate A at no cost.

SUPPORTER SECTION - SIGNS, BANNERS, AND FLAGS

All signs, banners, and flags must be approved by Audi Field management and are subject to removal if they do not fall within the following guidelines:

  • Item may not obstruct facility signage.
  • Item may not contain or display any profane, offensive, graphic, obscene language, and/or pictures as determined by event management.
  • Item is not taped, glued, or secured using an adhesive agent of any kind.
  • The hanging of the sign, flag, or banner does not damage the stadium walls, paint, railings, glass, or other stadium property.
  • The hanging of the sign, flag, or banner does not in any way damage the stadium walls, paint, railings, glass, or other stadium property.
  • Item may not be constructed of wood, metal, or any other material that may cause harm to others
  • Item may not contain commercial messages of any kind.
  • Item may not be used as a projectile.
  • May be attached to a holding device, provided it meets all of the following requirements:
    • The pole MUST be made out of a hollow ½ (half) inch PVC Pipe no longer than 3.5 (three and one half) feet long. All requests for longer poles must be pre-approved by Audi Field management.

If a sign, banner, or flag does not meet the above guidelines, guests will have to discard the item or return it to their vehicle.

The item will not be stored, secured, or kept for return by Audi Field. Team management reserves the right to deny anything that they deem inappropriate, in the interests of fan and team safety.

TICKET SERVICES

For all ticket-related issues, please visit the Ticketmaster Box Office next to Gate A.

UMBRELLAS

Umbrellas are not allowed inside Audi Field.

USHERS

Ushers are stationed throughout the stadium to enforce all rules and regulations and to answer any questions. They should be contacted in the event of an emergency. Guests are required, per the fan code of conduct, to treat all ushers with courtesy and respect to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment.

VISITING TEAM FANS

D.C. United welcome fans and supporters of all visiting MLS teams. Visiting fans are guests of D.C. United and harassment will not be tolerated and may result in ejection from the venue. For information about purchasing tickets in the designated visiting supporter section, please contact supporters@dcunited.com.

WEAPONS AND FIREARMS

Weapons and firearms are prohibited at Audi Field, except for law enforcement personnel with licenses to carry them. Off-duty law enforcement officials must register their weapon with building security at Gate B prior to entering the facility.

YOUTH SPORTS EQUIPMENT DONATION BINS

Thanks to partner support, D.C. United has two sporting equipment donation bins at Audi Field. One supported by Republic Services is located between Gates A and C; to the right of the Club Shop external entrance and the other supported by CareFirst is located on Audi Drive, South of Gate A before you get to Gate B. D.C. United proudly supports Leveling the Playing Field and providing youth with access to play the sports they love without any barriers.
